Cost, latency, error rates, what it replaced, what it did not. Talks without evidence are the reason people stopped going to AI conferences.

The failed approach is usually more useful than the successful one, and it is the part nobody else will tell the room.

Sponsors get sponsor benefits. The stage is for the work. These are separate things and we keep them separate.
