What we collect and why.

Last updated August 18, 2026

This describes what actually happens on this site, not a generic template. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will fix the wording.

What we collect

When you join the mailing list, we store:

  • Your email address, which is required
  • Your first name, last name, and industry, if you choose to give them
  • Which page you signed up from, and any campaign tags in the link you followed
  • A one-way hash of your IP address. We never store the address itself. The hash exists only so we can investigate abuse.

If you contact us or submit a sponsor enquiry, we store what you put in the form. If you buy a ticket, we store your order and attendee details, and Stripe stores the payment information. Card numbers never touch our servers.

What we do with it

We email you about this conference: when tickets open, who is speaking, and what you need to know on the day. We do not sell your details, we do not rent them, and we do not hand your email to sponsors. Sponsors get to meet you in the room, which is the point.

Who else processes it

  • Supabase hosts the database
  • Vercel hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly analytics without cookies
  • Resend delivers our email
  • Stripe processes payments

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics counts page views without them.

Your choices

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. You can also ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it entirely, and we will do that within 30 days. Ticket and payment records may have to be kept longer where tax or accounting rules require it.
